It’s quite a long story. As a young boy, I lived in Asia. My dad was from the U.S., so we would go there almost every year. The first place I would want to go was M.O.A. (Mall of America) in Minnesota. We’d head down there and I’d always get one Lego set. Then we went back and it repeated each year. (I’m getting a little off-topic am I not?) Too make a long story short, we moved to the U.S. and I got hooked into Lego. But I wanted more. I searched Lego Star Wars videos on Youtube and soon discovered Fliplit, I watched his custom clone videos (which turned me into a clonetard), and then I moved on to Flickr. Being a noobie, I commented on several pros’ pictures and when they found my pictures, made fun of them, and many other things. But that didn’t stop me. I thought my clones were as good as MinifigMaker’s or Dutch’s. Months later, I don’t know how but I got transitioned to WWII, and from there modern and Post-Apoc, where I am today.I definitely love the series. Though I am not very fond of the mystery idea. Especially since the bar code option is gone. Sometimes it takes me forever to find one figure I want while my mom waits impatiently. IMO, the series would be a lot more popular and look a lot better if they were flesh-colored. Other than those, I really like the series and I hope it goes on for at least another year!Yes. Not much really, as I do like to keep my builds up to “look at”. You see, every time I make a build, I have to take down my previous build. So I can never have two (good) builds at a time. My builds are mainly for contests, so I do it for the sake of that. To be more precise, I am currently working on a Task Force 141 (from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series). I am awaiting time to make an order for more parts as I am low on supplies. Another project I am working on is a Christmas-themed moc, to lighten up the holidays. Last but not least, I am working on my faction (which still needs to be umphed-up as they are currently standard BrickArms modern Combat soldiers).I first got into custom minifigures about six months ago. I joined the online Lego community about a year ago, and for the first few months I was mainly an observer. After watching people’s uploads for months, I finally started delving into the ‘customizing’ realm. It started with just combining Lego and BrickArms into different combinations. I started getting really good feedback on minifigs that I were making with all printed/decaled/molded stuff, no painting, etc.The majority of my ideas and inspiration come from video games and movies. Besides the obvious COD series, I’ve always enjoyed fantasy games such as Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, I’ve always enjoyed games that have a medieval twist or inspiration, such as Elder Scrolls, LOTR, and Assassin’s Creed. Besides video games, I get a lot of inspiration from movies. I enjoy movies a lot, especially the Star Wars saga. This was my first customization genre that I worked in, so I owe a lot to Star Wars!My projects that I’m currently working on are my Echo Squad (which is currently mainly purist, though I am adding Tiny Tactical and E-Tape, etc.), and making a good number of more modern warfare type figures. Two projects that I want to work on soon that I haven’t unveiled until now are the ‘A Team’ and Dumbledore’s Army Around June last year, it was just the beginning of my holidays, and I remembered the times when I was a Clonetard on MOCpages. It was anything Star Wars for me back then. I also remembered the few prized Brickarms I had, and decided to check the site out again. It was a month or so until I received my Brickarms order, and in time, started making custom guns. Soon after, I realised the stock parts of LEGO were insufficient for my customizing needs. I soon discovered Roaglaan, and that was when my customizing story began. Since then it has developed from paper glued to LEGO torsos, to painted armor pieces and custom parts. The rest is just history.Well, there are various sources to my ideas and inspiration for my work. They mostly come from my extremely supportive and helpful family, video-games such as the Fallout and Modern Warfare series, movies and my fellow customizers here on Flickr. Most of my inspiration has to be credited to video-games, namely the Fallout Series, STALKER, Metro 2033, Call of Duty, Battlefield and Assassin’s Creed.Of course! There are a number of customizers on Flickr who I look up to, and even consider to be my friends! Some of my good friends here on Flickr such as Pecovam, Pedro, EclipseGrafx, Family Bricks, Geoshift, Shobrick, Chef and many others inspire a lot of my work. Some have even been crucial in my development as a customizer, and I am proud to call them my friends. The LEGO
