Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is a direct sequel of Lego Batman: The Videogame. The game is developed by Traveller’s Tales and features an open-world environment, the first in the Lego series developed by Traveller’s Tales to do so. In addition to Batman being a playable character, several other super heroes from the DC universe are playable as well.Batman faces off against several legendary villains in the series, including Penguin, Joker, Harley Quinn, Riddler and Two-Face before teaming up with other DC super heroes to head off the villains. The game features an open-world environment and the ability to play as over 70 super heroes from the DC universe. New gadgets are also available in the game, including Robin’s Hazard Cannon and Superman’s heat vision. For multiplayer, there is a two-player cooperative mode that uses split screen.
